Are they beautiful or what? (My new MARANS EGGS!!)

I didn't go to the farm its self. They met me part way with the eggs. I think there are some pictures of some of the parents on the web site. I have no idea how big they are, but some of these eggs are quite large. I guess I will find out in about 8 months to a year how big they are.

Beautiful my goal is a colorful egg basket as well I have true Ameraucana, Faverolle, Leghorn, Marans, Welsummer, and Delaware. Those birds are beautiful and can't wait to see the Marans

That is my goal also. My flock is so young that it is kind of frustrating waiting for them to just grow up already and get to laying!!

I have been on several waiting lists for several months. I have paid for eggs that have not arrived yet. I have sold many things that I loved and regreted selling in order to have enough money for these "Golden" eggs, and now I FINALLY have some!!!

Last night a "local" breeder let me know she had some BC and wheatons and blue Marans that I couls pick up today if I wanted. So I emptied my Pay pal account to her and had to go to the bank for the rest. I drove 2 1/2 hours today in order to get them, but I believe it was worth it!!

Are you serious? Isn't that a little extreme to be selling off things you love to buy eggs?

I HOPE you get a good hatch!
