I'm sorry, but if that first one is showing that much red in the comb and wattle area at just 7 1/2 wks. old, I'm going to have to disagree with everyone else and say you have a cockerel there. My buff pullets never show any red that early.

Humm.. I was hoping for two pullets but if Goldie #1 is a cockerel that wouldn’t be soooo bad.

If he does turn out to be a cockerel, will there be any problem having him with my other pullets? They are all going to be smaller than the Buff’s. I have gold and black sex links, EE’s, and a California white.
