Are they close to laying? PICS!!

Hey everyone I have 4 OEGB pullets that were hatched during the summer and was wondering when they would start laying? Are they close? Here are some pics...

Hard to see any combs on them...so I can't say.
But I hope they lay for you soon.

If they hatched this summer like you stated I would not think they will lay until early spring ( March). They tend to take a bit longer before laying. I do not see any deep red in the combs that usually is evident prior to laying by about 2 to 4 weeks. That's just my take.

Nope, they have a ways to go. If they hatched in the summer, it will be roughly 6 months before you see any eggs. Sorry.

Is it because of the breed? I am very new to this. I got chicks mid July and 4 of the 6 have started laying this past week. The layers as best as we can tell are a BR, BO (first),GLW and a light Brahma. Still waiting on the Austrolorp and the EE. Just really curious. Thanks!
