Are they dead?

My serama hen has been sitting on her eggs for 26 days now, I have candled them a few times throughout that time and never once saw movements, but they have obviously been growing, right now it's all dark and just the air sack in visable which it has been for some time now, should I just take the eggs out and get my hen to stop being broody?

Yeah you might want to take the eggs out. I think they died. Sorry about that

If you don't hear peeping and the aircell is intact at day 26 - I'd say they are gonners :/

That's a bummer... but she only just started laying so there will be plenty on chances to try again.

I just checked inside, they were dead, seems to have been a very late death cause they looked just about ready to hatch.
