*Are they fertile??*

Hi everyone. Well I think/ hope one of my bantam hens is about to lay. She has been acting weird lately.... But my question is I have a rooster in with them (Paislee) I havent seen him mating with her but he may be doing it when Im not around if he is will her FIRST egg be fertile?? Thanks in advance!

Only way to know for sure is to crack open the eggs and look for the 'bullseye'.

You could look for the bullseye when you crack it open -

or you could put them first eggs in a bator and candle in about 3-5 days or so.

Ok I guess I will crack the first one open and if it is then Ill put the others in the bator!!
