Hello new member here. I have had chickens and turkeys for a year now and I recently started getting large eggs. I figured one of my chickens were just randomly laying a large egg here or there.

the egg I collected today was different from the other big ones in appearance and it was also softer. So I decided to crack it open and take a look. It was a double yolk.

The blastodisc/derm isn't visible in the picture and/or too much reflectivity of your ceiling lights on the surface of the yolk.
The softer shelled double yolker is likely from a pullet.
What breed is your cockerel/rooster and how long have you had him?

So upon further inspection it appears that there is a bullseye that people use to determine if their eggs are fertilized. I want to get some other options before I decide to start incubating any. I circled what looks like a bullseye.

If they are fertilized they have to be turkey as I do not have a rooster

No no no. The turkeys are not mating with the chickens. My turkeys and chickens live in the same coop at night and have access to the same nesting boxes. At first light the run gets opened up and they all free range during the day.
I have 4 bourbon red turkeys 2 hens and 2 toms. I have not seen them lay any eggs and they should be starting to lay eggs soon. So I was just stating that if the eggs were fertilized then they would have to be turkey eggs, not a chicken X turkey cross

And I always say my husband and I have trouble communicating. :gigI know its not supposed to be funny, but thank you for the only laugh I've had today.
The eggs could be fertile if they are turkey eggs. :frow

Ok I'll tell you that is probably not a turkey egg. Turkey eggs are very pointed at one end and are speckled. Turkeys usually start laying in March/April so keep your eyes on the look out for them they will be the ones that will be fertile.
