Are they going to hatch?

My 4 miniature Silkie eggs are on day 21 and there is NOTHING.

I know there's plently of time yet, but I have heard no chirping, seen no rocking and definitely no pips. I'm postive the temp has been at an average stable through out so surely they should be making progress?

I may be being impatient, it's my first time hatching and just can't help thinking that they are dead!

Just before lock down I candled them for the last time. One had 2 air sacks - I figured it had died (was fine 3 days prior) but put it in there just incase. The other 3 were totally black apart from the air sack on one end. I couldnt see any moving but am sure I saw veining on one. Is this normal for candling on day 18?

As they are mini's the eggs are tiny, maybe the chicks are just super squashed?

Ive been searching the net all day and discovered I may be a day in front of reality..

I counted the day I placed them in bator as Day 1.. Instead of Day 0. (Iif that's correct?)

So maybe they'll pip soon.

They might just have been slow to start at the beginning I would give them til day24 then candle them.
