I bought 12 chicks (5 weeks old) from a feed store. My father said that they are straight run. It looks like I have 3 roosters. I want to keep 6 and give away 6. How do I advertise them? Are they “mutts”? Also they are all suppose to be bantam how do I know for sure. I can’t advertise bantams if they turn out not to be.
Two that I want to keep 1 rooster looks like a Barred rock and 1 pullet looks like a Welsummer. Are they actually a Barred rock and Welsummer? If anyone is interested in the extra 6 I have I have many pictures I can send you. I live in Missouri.

Mutts are mixed breeds....and if the are from a hatchery...than that isn't the case...just not as good as breeder quality....

And like mentioned above, the look like a barred cochin and a partridge cochin.....very nice breeds....

BR's do not have feathers on their feet. The Cuckoo feather pattern isn't only known to one particular breed. Though I can't tell what breed they are. Could be Cochin with the barring pattern, though I've never seen one. Other could be partridge cochin. Again the partridge pattern isn't only known to one breed of bird either.
