Are two chickens laying? Egg Confusion

On Wednesday My RIR started laying. Her egg had an excellent shell, so I was surprised to find a broken egg with a light color and thinner, softer shell on Thursday. This egg was also laid in a different area on large rocks where the flock likes to hang out. Yesterday (Friday) while going to move the food and water back to the run, I found another broken egg in the same area as Thursday’s broken egg.

I assumed my RIR was the only layer until I just found another egg where my first egg was found. This egg was the same as Wednesday’s perfect egg. The flock has been in their run today due to rainy weather, so I know I have 4 eggs over 3 days.

Due to egg color and behavior, I am assuming my Speckled Sussex is the second chicken laying softer eggs. I want to verify that it is highly unlikely/nearly impossible that all 4 eggs came from my RIR. Is it normal for two pullets of different breeds to start laying within 24 hours of one another?
Any help is appreciated!

2 of my EE’s starting to lay on the same day so it wouldn’t be unusual for 2 chickens to start laying within 24 hours.

I pretty much just got confirmation that I have two chickens laying because my RIR laid another egg within minutes of me posting this thread. I assumed I would be waiting awhile longer for a second to start laying. Hopefully the addition of oyster shells will help my SS produce stronger eggs.
