Are two peahens better than one?

My question for all the experienced peafowl aficionados:
Is it better (and less stress) for peahens if there is more than one peahen per peacock?

Background:
I have a 6 year old India Blue peacock, Monroe, that came to me a year and a half ago as a rescue after having been shot. He has since recuperated and is active and healthy, but lost function in one of his feet and hobbles around. Monroe did get seen by an avian vet, but the vet was unable to save the function in his foot because of nerve damage. Unfortunately, due to the wound, Monroe lost his ability to perch. As a result, he lives in an enclosed 360 sq. foot aviary to ensure his safety. I am now in the process of buying a peahen so that Monroe can have a companion. Is it recommended that I buy more than one peahen to have a higher female to male ratio? I want to do what is best for both Monroe and his future lady love(s).

Please advise.
Many thanks!!
Jess :)

If Monroe can't perch i don't think his lady loves are going to get bred
