I LOVE it when people come back and say whether predictions on gender were right or wrong. So here it is. You guys were right. All roos. The one hold out that I wasn't sure about bellowed his masculinity this afternoon. Sigh.

Of course, this means I get to feed my burgeoning chicken habit with new hens.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in thinking that solid blue looked hennish. Everything was pointing in that direction .... except for the red wattles and combs ... and that's the one who cock-a-doodled today. Ah well.

I have a little rooster that I swore was a hen up until about 9 weeks old.. He started getting saddle feathers then. He still has small waddles.. but he does crow. He is going to look JUST LIKE MY RUSTY!!! excepts the muffs of a D'uccle and some feathers on his feet.
