No, unfortunately it’s definitely not the lighting. This bird has no light tipped breast feathers anymore.It may be the lighting but I am not seeing the light colored lower edges on the breast feathers anymore. It may well be a late developing tom.
I know @feedman77 had a late developing tom that was thought to be a hen for a long time.

But I really was thinking Hen. I should've taken r2elk's advice and not wagered. But in true form, I put my money where my mouth is. Literally. And lost. Oh well... Win some. Lose others.
I still would have made the bet at the time lol but I do like to gamble on a good bet!!
