Naerys is 6 weeks tomorrow and has a lot of feather growth and will walk on her feet. Her tail feathers are in the u shape but maybe those come in later. What do yall think?

Curly tail feathers didn't develop on my drakes until about 16+ weeks old. Do you know what breed?

The green head and raspy whisper voice developed earlier than that for me.

Sorry I don't have a better answer. Cuties! :love
Shes a muscovy so they don't get the curly drake feathers but I've read that the males have a u shape and the females have a v shape but the females get their feathers quick and Males are getting theirs at around 6 weeks

Nothing screams “drake” at this point... Here are pictures of my two hens at about the same age for comparison. At the time, I thought that the (then) yellow one was a drake.
