Are Wyandottes good layers?

I love Wyandottes they winter fine here in Oklahoma but the summers are a bit harder on them(hot and humid) but they are good layers and lay pretty much all winter for me. I would have more if I could find them.

Thanks for your help everyone - looks like I will try to hatch some Wyandottes on your recommendation. I hope I can get some eggs at a local auction or on Ebay. Cheers

I just have to say that Henderson breed chart is NOT accurate

I have had several rare breeds and things like temperment, egg laying, heartiness....really varies with the strain, or breeding, not necessarily with the breed itself. Take the chart with a grain of salt Good luck.
