Are you a bit squeemish?

I love horror movies!!! Rob Zombie is my favorite and Devils Rejects is probably my favorite movie! My family knows if there is blood in it, then mom will watch it.

I have blood dripping on my front door, been there 2 years. Plus the main bathroom shower curtain is the sileute of psycho with the knife up, hehehe.

I can't watch movies that are based on 'real' though, like jeffery dahmer and such.

Oh, and as a kid I couldn't watch them but as an adult, am 44 now, i love them. To me they are pure excapeism.

I don't like to watch 'scarey' movies and I end up ruining them for everyone else taking apart the special affects and telling everyone what's going to happen next...more for my own comfort than anyone elses.

I grew up on horror films and cartoons. There was never a point in my life where I thought "hey thats okay to do" when someone was getting slaughtered on the screen. Parents need to take the time to show their kids there is a difference between Screen time and Real time. And if the kid still thinsk it okay thent he kid needs a therapist.

I am guessing you are taking about the remake of Wicker Man with Nicolas Cage. I really liked this, not gore or horror but good suspence, but I loved the original with Christopher Lee

I had the biggest crush on him when I was in headstart!

Like Hooligan said, if you can't separate fantasy from reality then YOU are the one with issues, NOT the movie. I grew up on them.....I still remember my brother and I sneaking out of bed watching the awful, low budget, late 70's early 80's Horror shows. LOL We made a family affair (minus my mother) of watching The Omen every year.

My oldest son is 10 (almost 11) and is a HUGE Stephen King fan.......my mother says I am twisting his little mind. He is one of the kindest, gentlest people I know. When I was young (about his age) I started writing little short horror stories. Mt mom found them and freaked. I got in huge trouble and she succesfully tramped down any creative writing talent I might have developed. I feel guilt killing flies (gotta make sure it is a quick hit and they don't fall down alive). It certainly hasn't warped me yet!!!

LoL I would have LOVED to have that! I just loved all of his movies, Hammer Films made some very good movies in the 60s!

I just got Saw 4 today and Im very anxious to watch it! Most things dont gross me out, but some get to me. I dont get grossed out as much as I hate being suprised, like when a crazy mutant from The Hills have Eyes 2 pops out of a hole in the stinkin cliff and cuts off a guys arm, lol.

Absolutely LOVE horror movies!!!
I've seen ALL of the Nightmare on Elm Street except for Freddy meets Jason.

I too remember "the Shuttered Room" with Gig Young, Carol Lynley and a young and yummy Oliver Reed.

I was a lot more squeamish before I had a baby...one of the grossest things evah! LOL Now I can put my hand inside the cavity of an oven stuffer roaster without thinking twice about it. LOL

I will admit that it took me over 10 years to sit through the Exorcist...now THAT one scared the crap out of me.
