Please count me in... i'm eggspecting my first hatch on April 6 using the octagon eco 20 If I win I'd like the Brooder. ive been very happy so far with the bator. good luck to all
I have 12 Nankin Banty and 2 Wellsummer due april 9th In my new Brinsea Mini-Advance. I would love the brooder, So count me in, I dont see veins yet so hope their good.
I will be setting eggs in my eco20 on saturday April 2nd. So, count me in please!! As far as prizes go, think I will pass on voting for a preference. Any of the 3 listed would be amazing to win.
As an "old" Brinsea Octagon user/owner.....(I have 8 of them in operation as we speak)....I'm feeling a little left out!
Maybe Brinsea should offer us "old timers" who participate a batch of spare parts like auto-turner motors....mine seldom last an entire spring season.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Brinsea's....why would I own so many....just wish the motors would last a little longer than 6 months.
My 'bators are running non-stop from January 1st thru June 30th every year so I might be an "extreme" user and Brinsea Customer Service is Top Notch....if Rose is monitoring this thread "THANKS" for taking care of my parts orders!
Hopefully I'll be able to graduate to shipped eggs for the April hatch... I've learned tons from the hatchery types, now I'm ready to move on to a well bred line. My set up would really benefit from the ecoglow brooder light thingy, so that is where my vote is, although the chicks seem to like the heating pad and stuffed momma dog they are snuggling with right now.
lol, i like the idea of an 'old' brinsea hatch along! Would love to see how many hatches people get out of their incubators, and how to repair the 'bator when a problem does occur.
I can't wait for the pictures to start flowing in! Gotta actually wait until April, though. I am putting everyone in a spreadsheet to keep track of, I'll revise the first post with a list of participating members by the first of April, and update it as the month goes on!

I definitely wish there was a way to offer up loyal Brinsea users something! Maybe that could be kept in mind for a future drawing/photo contest.
I'm ready for the April hatch a long. Didn't set yard eggs this time. I set 70 coturnix eggs. Hopefully, I'll hatch some so I can fill my recently built quail pen. I'm wanting the grande brooder for the April prize. I would like to quit using heat lamps . Heat lamps are a pain to deal with & I constantly worry about something catching on fire. I can't ever get the lamps to radiate the heat correctly its either to hot or to cold.
