I was hoping to do Duck eggs for April. Unfortunately we have a wicked cold snap -4 c currently, my pond is frozen and my poor ducks have a little hole they are circling in to keep the water open. Can't even keep water from freezing in the chicken coop. Forecast does not look like warming up for another week. So I may not have eggs that can hatch by April 30th. The duck egg I collected yesterday morning was frozen solid. Grabbed one this morning at 7:00 a.m. but I think it was frozen too. And since I lost my roo and most of his girls in Feb, I only have unfertilized chicken eggs now.
Looks like I misunderstood the previous rules! This hatch along is for ALL Brinsea owners, not just new ones! I feel rather silly, but at least it is early enough that hopefully no harm was done!
I've got 4 Emu eggs hatching April 6th through the 16th. I'm not sure of the date for the last two, since DH snuck them in on me. Anyway, I'm in. I think Ovascope would be the best prize too.

The "new" was to encourage Brinsea owners to join in. For my first hatch, it was a great way to feel comfortable with the hatching process and to get advice on my Brinsea.
