Im in I got my Brinsea 20 eco in the first week of april. I set them the 9th or 10th I'll have to go look, but they should be hatching about the last day of the month. I set some Easter eggers and I should get some black sex links and some mutts. This is our first hatch the kids are excited so I hope every thing goes well.

went into my first lockdown today! in my new octogon 20 eco: 8 shipped eggs (out of 16) + 5 home flock mutt eggs + 1 double yolker that i couldn't resist trying = 15 eggs total made it to lockdown (with 16 chicks). some of them are already moving around a bit! i'm so excited, this is my first time incubating ever.

The eggs have lost about 14% of their weight, which is the closest to ideal I've come to.
Looking forward to fuzzy butts!!

I had a black silkie and a little americana banty hatched this morning when I got up. Cuteness, I will have to post pics later.

I will be going through and updating all my info, may or may not have time to post confirmations on facebook 'til Sunday. I am having to travel to see my parents this weekend. They have internet, but very very slow since they are in the boonies. Looking forward to the chick pics I am missing and won't get to see until Sunday!

One duck is out, out of 9! I can see pips on all but one of the eggs. So cross your fingers for me! They are in a Brinsea Octagon 20. They are on day 29 today.
