Are You A Brinsea Owner? - April Hatch Along - Prize: Ecoglow Brooder!

My DD and I just managed to get 30 eggs and 33 eggs in our 2 Eco 20's. A bit of rearrangeing but they are all in and secure.

How do you get them all in? Does anyone have any photos of this?

There are pictures of "egg stacking in Brinsea's " on BYC. Someone told me about it and I actually printed up the pictures so I could copy when I was more experienced and brave enough. I don't have what thread it is now...but you can go up to the search area on this page and put in egg stacking in Brinsea and find out how.

Thanks for the link on stacking eggs. Just what I need. A way to squeeze in more eggs!

Ah yes, but of those 97 participants, how many will remember to post in both locations? and how many will actually have a successful hatch by midnight on the 30th??? And then there are all those peeps who post on Brinsea on the last two days just to keep the volunteer up late the final night! Odds are darn good for winning the brooder!

Still battling high humidity here in southern Ontario. Candled my eggs again last night and all 7 ducklings are growing, but I'm not happy with the weight loss. Hope it dries up here real soon so these little ones have a chance.

I've got two babies hatched, their due dates were the 14th and 16th. I'm a little disappointed, hoping for some stragglers! Will post a picture here soon and on facebook. It's darn hard getting a good shot of a new chick in my octagon! Would help if I had better lighting in my spare bedroom

So glad April 30th is a Saturday! I will soo busy that night so I can get all the info to Brinsea quickly! Those who haven't submitted photos to both locations will get a PM reminder a few days before then, in case anyone forgot!

Our ducks are hatching today in our Brinsea 380! Crested Cayugas and Crested Magpie x Khaki Campbell/Runners! A perfect backyard mix of ducks.

A big thank you to fellow BYCers Lovinmypeeps (Kristen) and Sonew123 (Nat) for the eggs you gave us.

My 7 year old DD decided to help narrate the video...this is a Chuckie duck hatching (4/18/11)!

This pic was taken a few minutes before the video...the egg in the center is the same one the duck hatches from in the video.
