I remembered to take a photo this month. Here is my entry for April....I can tell this chick is going to be a diva..."look out world here I come!"

Well it turned out that the temp was not adjusted good. So they euh whats the english word..... reset the bator and checked the chips and stuff and adjusted it to what it supposed to be.


It said 37.8 Celsius on the display and on my digital meter and normal meter but they tested it and it was 33 Celsius

And that was the reason the chicks died..

Well I am really surprised that Brinsea made such a mistake. It is too bad that this happened to you. Did you get any kind of money back or coupons or SOMETHING for your misfortune?

I am soooooo EGGcited I am hatching my own Orpington Chicks from my own first timers Blue Orpington Hens & Roo. 3 @ 11am today & one more piping! I'm in for the APRIL HATCH ! I have 7 more in a second Mini Advance due in one week !

Humidity @ 70% I used syringe to add water through vents worked great I got that tip on BYC

I'm in lockdown, with tomorrow being the hatch date! Only 3 of the 7 eggs made it to lockdown, but that's okay. And......my new Brinsea Octagon 20 EX is scheduled to arrive on Monday!! I'm so excited!!!!

Euh no, the store has a dealership with Brinsea but they don't have to give a coupon or refund for this... It's the first time he sad that he got a machine back. Then again Brinsea makes lot's of them so there's always a possibility that one that slipped between check ups....
I will mail the result to Brinsea do..

Soon I will have to play egg tetris in my Eco 20. I have 10 turkey eggs in there now, and have to make room for 6 BCMs, 6 Buff Chanteclers, and 6 black australorp eggs!
