I'm a big Rusty Wallace fan but since he retired last year I've been rooting for Carl Edwards (the guy who does the back flips)
the wife goes for Mark Martin
1st son goes for Gordon

2nd son goes for Jr.

My husband likes Matt Kenseth and I root for Tony Raines

Poor Matt and Tony, they are both real good drivers... just been gettin a bad break.

It is kinda of getting boring since it seems that the same people are winning all the time. But of course I keep watching.

Well, ummmm.... hmmm... I cant say nuthin... cause my guy is winnin... but yah I have to agree.

I'm a Dale Jr fan, was before his dad died too. Also vote for truex jr. And like true nascar fan wote against all things hendrix What will I do next year, vote for Jr and hope 24/48 bounce off each other and finish last. However I do admire what those two do for charities etc..... Heard Jimmy gave all his earnings from todays race (which he won) to victims of CA fires and Bruton Smith and Lowes said they would match those funds too. I know he makes millions but even so most that make that much just pocket it and go on. Truth be told lots of the bigger names have thier own charities and give lots back, you just dont see that in other sports.

One of My DS's roots for Truex too... Poor guy... I can't believe the wreck that happened at the end of the race... Surprising Hamiln's crew cheif told him to stay out knowing they were low on gas... just baffles me. I had to giggle about 24 & 48 bouncing off eachother LOL... but even when they do... one of them wins

Yes, you are right about the donation going to the victims in CA... I agree with you, I have NEVER seen another sport donate to charity as much as NASCAR or the drivers... they get a "WAY TO GO" from me... heck football right now is giving all its money to the Judicial System LOL.... hmmmm quite funny to me. Good to know that NASCAR has so many GOOD GUYS and MENTORS to look up too!!!!!!!!!!!

I hated NASCAR until my daughter got interested in it in the 5th grade. Her favorite is Tony Stewart. Of course I share her interest but Mark Martin is my favorite since he is from Arkansas. I like Dale Jr. and I like to see the guy do the backflips from his car when he wins.

LOL.... I hated NASCAR too... I couldn't understand what all the hype was about going in circles... LOL... now I just love it... Watching a race in person though... tops it all... went to my first race on my honeymoon

True "redneck" LOL. I have been a fan since 2000. At one time I couldn't stand Tony Stewart, but I have gained alot of respect for him over the past couple of years.... and as for Mark Martin... I was so glad to see him walk away after the bad wreck today!!!!!! We root for him too.... even if our other drivers are up front... love to see Mark win!!! And you are talking about Carl Edwards... he is gettin really good at doing those back flips isnt he LOL. He is winning the Championship for Busch series YAY..

This is how bad I am.... Dale Jr ahhhhhhh. At Chrismas time we put up a huge light display and we have the "Elfland Speedway" with Jr's car , Tony Stewart's car, Santa Johnson and a pace car and will be adding a new car this year. Can we say NASCAR Junkie?

My DH and I have always been fans even before we met. When I was a teen I listened to the races on the radio because they weren't televised ( how hard core is that!!) We used to go to every CA speedway race. We have gotten so many people that didn't like nascar into it. a lot of them now won't miss a race. As for us , after Senior died our heart wasn't in it. I still have no favorite driver, just root for ALMOST everyone. Being a die hard senior fan, I guess you know who I don't root for.
In our opinion, ever since nextel took over and changed EVERYTHING, the races just aren't as much fun, the competition has gone out a lot. We had to stop watching a few years ago as we had too much work to do remodeling our house to sell. I would tape the races and we would watch them at night over the week, but someone was always letting it slip to us who won.
Now that we are in the mtns. we choose not to have tv. We DO miss the races, foxnews, history chnl, discovery chnl., and of course pro footbal. That is all we watched.

In Feb. we are taking our DGD to her first nascar race! She has been bugging us for years. We thought we'd wait until she was nine so she could actually enjoy the whole experience.

By the way, the walls of our weight/ammo room are lined with Dale Senior things!!

I forgot, we now live near Bakersfield, home of MANY nascar racers. They are almost finished with a new nascar track there!!!
