ps, I'd love to fish, but hunting is my #1 fav thing to do. I'd love to take the wife and kids up, but if ya look at my siggy, my household is testosterone deficient. I'd love for the wife to hunt with me someday tho. We could leave the kids at camp to play, ride quads etc, and me and the wife could hunt mornings and nights. Sadly, my wife has no interest. I sort of ruined her on hunting when I hit a deer one year, broke my ribs and halfway went through windshield then made her help me hang it so it wouldn't go bad

I've hunted for 30 years. I generally only have time to hunt during deer season. My DH bought me a nice bow a few years ago, and my DF gave me a semi auto 20 ga when I was a kid, that I still hunt with today. I make sure I always have vac time to use just to go hunting.

We have a similar event in MI. its called (WWOW) Wild Women of Washtenaw, Outdoor Women's event.

I love hunting. I just started this year, and haven't harvested anything, yet. We did bear, deer, small game and my favorite, coyote. We plan to do duck/geese as well.

I only get the chance to hunt turkeys if I get picked for a draw hunt...Once was able to hunt 8 hours this year

Didn't even get a shot off. The tom stayed in the underbrush. The closest I've came to harvesting a bird is missing

Well, they are really like rats here, tons of them. We can have two tags a year, plus landowner tags, so we eat plenty of turkey this time of year! We can shoot them in the fall also, but generally don't, too busy bird hunting. We have almost two weeks left in the last season.
