are you adopted?

We are foster/adoptive parents. We have adopted two of our boys and we are in the process of adopting two of our boys (siblings). We have varying contact with family (birth family) but we do our very best to honor; not judge them.
I had a really bad childhood. I wished there was someone there for me. Us being foster parents is my way to try to give back; to maybe be that someone for a child. btw the chickens have been an awesome "therapy" tool. Raising them from babies and caring for them, they have something to connect to. It is amazing the difference it makes in a child

I do have to say we are closing our doors after these next two adoptions are finalized. Unless we win the lottery and can afford to build a larger house on some land......

I wish I had been adopted, it would have been a very good explanation.

I would have love to have been a foster parent, or adopt, DH just isn't willing to consider it.

When a child is with me, they are mine. I would love and protect them like I did my bio kids. When they left me, they belonged to someone else.

Hello,

We adopted our youngest daughter when she was 10 days old, and she is now 10 years old. We had two biological children and decided we wanted one more. So, we adopted and I have loved every minute of it. And she is the only one of my kids that really likes chickens, so that is a plus too:)
