This is going to make me cry to get rid of this SHIM! So I just wanted to post again to make sure everyone was positive it was a Roo the barred rock is the one i'm wondering about.

He looks like a Roo to me but also looks like you have a EE Roo in the background as well.

I wouldnt get rid of any until you are absolutely positive and hear a crow.

I'm not sure. I've raised Barred Rocks (still have 1 hen), and I don't think I'd feel sure at this point myself.
It's hard to think about having to get rid of one you love. Best wishes!

Its a roo. I've got 4 I'm going to get rid of. I've had plenty of experience and experiences with br roos, mostly bad..

My father-in-law has some 17 week old barred rock hens. Three of his 5 hens have waddles that big but your barred rock's comb is about 1/3 bigger then any of his barred rocks combs. I'd wait until you hear a crow to know for sure.
