Are you finding that meatie chicks are harder to keep clean?

Stone_family3, how old are your birds ?
I have had my second batch for about 5 days, they are realy messy birds. i am amazed at how fast they are growing.
The 1st batch are about 2 weeks old now and in another brooder with some production reds and orpingtons that are 3 weeks old. The meaties are already bigger than the reds and orps, this is my 1st time with meaties.
I would be interested in the progression of your birds, so that I can compare what I am doing, would like to know if I am raising them the right way !

3 of them are a week today and 4 of them will be a week tomorrow. Mine have gotten so big they are a bit then double the size of my easter eggers.

They really are dirty little creatures. I can't wait to get them outside and out of the house. In 2 more weeks I'll have another batch of chicks hatching so they really need to mosey on out of the house.
