I spend ALOT of time online, but since I'm usually broke and my projects take $$ not to mention I just quit smoking and if I dont stay busy I'll go insane. So instead I'll just stay online, i keep finding new stuff to learn even though I've been getting online since 1992

Actually, I got to clean my house, cleaned the coops, now I just have to watch out for my new "friend" , a brown snake has moved in, dont know what type of brown snake he is as I only spotted him last night, but he is sure munching through the mouse population.
Got to go and mow the lawns so he cant surprise me one day.
He was spotted up the road last Thursday and I knew he would just Looove my backyard!
Dangerous liasons, this fellow could put me out of action for a while if he bites me on the leg, however if he gets me on a vein, I wont be here giving you guys cheek.
Gonna have to go and do a snake catching course now! Just another thing to occupy my day!!

Yes. But I can get into any project and just exclude everything else . But one thing I have stuck to pretty well is that I will not get on the computer till after 6pm. Then, DH can watch tv, and I can be online, or read a book.

Bantymum! I agree with you. I limit myself to several days a week on-line, so I can keep my life in order. The first few days away are the hardest, but then it is almost like the chicken forum doesn't even exist. Though I do still come back and give annoying advice to people every week.

Have you found the zen habits website? You might enjoy it. Oh, right . . . when you ARE on-line that is.

I got hooked while on break, but it's hard not to spend too much time during the week on here. I've stopped posting as much, I do read a bunch of them, but I found I was saying too much. I drop in the chat every now and then and talk some but mostly watch because the conversations aren't something I'm involved with. I'm trying to be very careful about the time I spend. I'm on break from my Doctorate so I'm not online doing research as much so I have a little more time to spare. Once the classroom eggs are up and running I'll try to keep everyone up as much as they want to be kept up.
