Are you watching your chickens, or are they watching you?

I hear lots of chicken owners talk about how they like to watch their chickens, you know, chicken TV and that sort of thing. My hens, it seems, enjoy watching *me*. Here they are at the back patio sliding glass door. They know I'm in here, they're keeping an eye on me, and they're not leaving anytime soon. Sometimes they show up when I'm practicing my ukulele, so maybe they dig my tunes.

It seems a bit strange. Do your chickens do this too?

mine like to watch me too its really funny...i think mine are hoping they can come in and get a treat from me, lol

Yes, one of my chickens flies over her fence to come peck at my door to get me to come outside!

I'm beginning to wonder if they've figured out the sound of popcorn popping and are showing up hoping for a handout. They totally freak out over popcorn.

I know if mine here the back door, they will come running so they can keep an eye on me.
