my oegb bantam lives in our house so she's got her nest in the office and she goes in there to do her business she's got 7 eggs just hope she goes broody soon, she'll look very funny with her babies,

My silver penciled rocks & one sebright are giving me 4-7 eggs a day from 12 chcikens. They do have a light, but it's solar & hasn't been real consistant. They are first year layers.

I have a banty Cochin that started laying just before winter and hasn't stopped. She does a 5 day on and one day off schedule.

I only have one bantam laying right now - my avatar Silver Chick. She started just before Christmas and lays every other day (roughly, sometimes she skips two days before laying.)

My "best friends" Puff of Luv and Cacciatore (Cochin and D'Uccle) are not laying - they stopped in October or November.


My other Cochin Ruby, started laying mid Nov., maybe 12 eggs and now she is broody again (setting on 3 eggs with only 1 that might be good).

All mine are banties, and I'm getting nothing! Over 12 birds of egg laying age, and I ain't got no eggs! Maybe they're giving my incubator a chance to clear out!

I have a banty that is on her 16th day in a row, 3 days ago we got 2 eggs, i only have 1 banty and if my RIR's laid eggs so small i am sure they would blush with embarrasment! I am not complaining but i am pretty sure she thinks her life depends on giving me tiny eggs, she can carry on!

I have 2 banties, a BR/silkie mix and a golden wyandotte. I find 2 little eggs in the nest box everyday!
