Are your chicks always pecking at you?

I am always sticking my arm inside my chicks brooder to pet them or check on things and they always run over to me to see whats new for them. Every time I stick my arm in, they proceed to peck at my hand and arm and I just figured out why they are doing this. THEY are pecking at my FRECKLES! LMAO

Yes all the chicks i have peck at my hand or my arm. They are investigating.

Yes! My chicks definitely do that! I always think of them kind of doing what babies do, exploring with their mouths. I've had them peck a freckle until it was swollen! They are just curious.
