I was planting spring crocuses today and our duck ran up and nabbed one of the tiny bulbs. I know autumn crocuses are toxic, but are spring crocuses? It's been a couple of hours and he's not showing any ill effects...yet. He's a beloved pet and we would be heartbroken if we lost him.

Oh, I wish I knew.

I do know that activated charcoal (not briquettes, those are toxic - I am talking about the supplement you can get at drugstores) helps with some toxins in the gut.

Glad you are here . . . I hope someone who knows for sure if you should take action comes in soon.

In case you might want to help make it pass more quickly, there is a sticky about how to do a flush. Read up and decide if you want to try that. You just don't want to make things worse.
