It is really really worth the drive to Phoenix to get Aloha Project eggs from LareePQG! You might end up with a chicken with a really neat pattern, and she has tiny eggs

Congratulations on the test and the chicks! It must have been so sad when the cactus wren took your pet worms. You should have predator-proofed your colony. Sorry about your losses and the mites too!

Did anyone notice the haze? I think it is radiation from Japan's nuclear reactor. The wind stream would have carried it here about now.

TT! Given your attachment to the mealworms, I don't think you should spend much time with the mites. You can't keep them.
