Ricky Roo? Looks like Satan to me.

It was good to meet you and your DH today! I hope Ricky Loo(cipher) likes Candy Cane.

He kept calling to her and she ignored him. Ricky is penned with his flock right now so I can keep the fertility rate high, but CC did try and get in with them at dusk last night. That is how she ended up on the wall she tried to fly into the pen and overshot it.

It was also nice meeting you and I'm sorry I didn't properly introduce DH to you. My head had been terribly stuffed from allergies and I didn't even realize my rudeness until we had been sitting stuck in traffic for 30 minutes or so on the way back. I am sorry about it and DH's name is Joe. Thanks again for letting us add CC to our family.

Don't apologize! I never thought anything about it. Candy Cane likes to play hard to get. I am sure she will be very happy with y'all!

I wanted to tell everyone I met two wonderful fellow byc'ers this week. I really enjoy meeting others that share a passion for poultry. BYC is truly a great community.

I first met Constance. She gave me worms. 2,500 of them!

Turns out, she lives so close to me that we think we both might be hearing the same rogue rooster that lives between us. I had a great time showing off my chickens and the backyard (even in it's current bleak state). Thanks for ordering the mealworms Constance.

Yesterday I met Smiles-N-Sunshine (Bryan). He was so nice to show us his menagerie. Our favorite animal was his tom turkey, Ottoman, a magnificent bird who followed us all around, displaying for us the entire time! Now we all want some turkeys.

He gave up a dozen of his Delaware eggs that he was going to set in his incubator this weekend. He also gave us a sampler of turkey, duck and quail eggs. It will be the first time my wife and daughter have ever eaten an egg that didn't come from a chicken (well, my DD has eaten lots of ostrich eggs at her preschool, but she's forgotten all about that). Thanks to Bryan, my broody BA is now sitting on clutch of eggs and is happy as can be. Bryan, my entire family thanks you for the experience!

Hi,
It depends, there are two ladies in Waddell who sell them for $35 and up depending on age and quality. Amy Bullock who is a member of the Serama Council of North America is our district representative. Her's depend on quality, average for not show quality is $50 (of course could spend a few hundred on one there), but you would have to contact her to see what she has now, she is in Queen Creek. If you go tot he SCNA website you can find her contact information. I will also have some hatching in around 4/9 - so exciting!!!!

I went to the site and tried to access theforum but apparently you have to be a member. I don't have any Seramas so no reason to join at this time. The prices you quoted sound very do-able for me. I went to a few other sites and all I can say is YIKES!!! What kind of incubator do you have? I am considering getting a small one.
