Laree - we were so inspired by your bathroom remodel that we went out and bought a new bathtub, fixtures, faucets, towel bars, toilet, etc a few days ago. We had some plans for the bathroom but not this much. We are building a new wall too and since were at it, we will replace the old pipes too.

Awww...thanks, Mahonri. I am sure you know that when you do something like that, you receive more than you give. My kids love it. My 12yo and 10yo tell me they would rather go work in Mexico than go to Peter Piper Pizza! They don't speak a word of Spanish, but it doesn't seem to matter. These experiences are going to have a profound impact on the women they become.

Today is the day! Yea for all you Easter Hatchers!
Gee, I feel left out now. I didn't gather eggs for the Easter Hatch because I still had 30 left from my last weeks hatch. Sold everyone of them this afternoon. So now I have an empty brooder and empty incubator. What was I thinkin!
I mean "not buff" as in the color buff... it isn't like trying to find someone that is scrawny so I can beat them up and take their orpingtons.
Although, that isn't a bad idea.
You could totally do that! I'd like to see you do it.
It was so hot today, but we had a blast. Our homeschool group has been studying Greece, so we had a big Greek Olympics. The togas were less than comfortable in the heat. Oh, well! The kids also wrote their own skits based on Aesop's fables and perfomed them today. Of course, the massive amount of Greek food was nice, too. I made taboule salad and humus, and brought a little bread to put it on. YUMMY!!! Afterwards we were all kind of sick of being hot. What else is there to do but go to DQ? My 2yo and I shared a brownie earthquake. I guess I'll be back on that diet tomorrow.
