Arizona Chickens

I got to meet Vivian and her son today, which was a special treat... I wish I had had a few more minutes of clean up time before she got here. It wasn't until I she left that I realized how dirty the house was--and how messy the yard was.

Vivian-- I SWEAR we normally aren't slobs. Munchikin was sick, the bathroom was getting done,

Your DW probably has better self control than me!
My DH is my self control, when we were at your house, you were distracting DH, so I got away with chicks!

But chickens are GOOD for your health and well-being!

Just build more coops. Trust me, you will need them. I started out with just 5 (3 amerucana/EE, 2 rirs) and I went back the next day for a leghorn. 2 weeks later Chrystal had SLW and I got 4 of those, then two weeks later I got 5 Silkies.

Someday I will need a silkie, but haven't figured out how to intigrate one into my coops ... probably will have to wait!

i heard from my aunt today that my gradma
is a little bit better, she got hurt on Wednesday
but there still doing test, but they have not
done the surgery, everyone from the family
got together to help for my gradma surgery
we were surprise that finally everyone pitch
in to help, they got her health insurance
so they only have to pay for medicine

Didn't someone here already decide cleaning was evil? McLevinson, maybe? I took that to mean we didn't have to do it anymore. Was that wrong...

I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. I don't think people always realize that the cost of living is higher here.

I'm also sorry to hear about your dad. I wish that healthcare wasn't so expensive. Have you tried asking churches and other organizations? When all those people voted against a universal healthcare system, they said there were lots and lots of charities that would help.

Mandymooligan - I'm sorry to hear about your chick, and you are right... it happens. It sucks, but it seems like it is part of having chickens. The little ones are especially easy to lose.

thank you TTI, Gallo, Noskiveez, Nurse shelly
my gradma is doing better thank you

Does anyone have any hens they are trying to sell? 2 of my hens were stolen from me over the weekend and now need to replace them. Let me know.
