Caffeine and Chickens, does it get better than this? Only if I can involve soapmaking in some way!

I don't have time to read through 30+ pages to see if anything was determined--is there a coffee date and location? Someone send me an email if there is. I'm heading back to the fair for the smallstock auction, which I understand will last until late tonight. But I will have time to check emails...eiter tonight or tomorrow before I head out.

I have 2 coops built by Kyle - he is terrific! He asks all the right questions and will work with you if you want to make changes/additions etc.

Now I want tamales

I went to my local "Mom & Pop" pet shop here & they ordered worms for me. I got their rates AND I didn't get charged shipping. I got 1000 for $13 & change I believe. There was all forms of worm in there, including several beetles. I was super stoked

BUT I think DH killed them all off last night by leaving them outside (it got down to 35 @ our house)...

i went to petco but for the large meal worms
they only carry them in 100 pack
i am going fishing tommorow so
i thought i got the right worms but
i got wax worms

The only thing I didn't like about my Kyle Coop is that he used chipboard, and it's flaking apart and warping already despite the 2 coats of exterior paint I used.

Yay! I'm a chicken person! We picked up 3 from OK Feed tonight, a RIR, Barred Rock and supposed Amerucana. They are supposedly about 3 mos or so. I'll have to post a few more times so I can get a pic up here.
