That sounds like so much fun, I've always wanted to make soap. Queen Creek is too far away.

Well...does anyone in Tucson even know how to make soap? What about cheese? I've always wanted to learn to make cheese.

Oooh! I would LOVE to make cheese! We did it in my chemistry class but I was grossed out by rennet and couldn't find the microbial version. I made cottage cheese instead! If I had more time to order the microbial rennet, that would be really fun!

There are lots and lots of blogs on soap making... I bet we could figure it out. They all start with something like, "Lye is potentially a very dangerous substance and must be handled with extreme caution" which makes it sound like even more fun!

Ooooh...I didn't know it was dangerous! That DOES sound like fun. And just to kick it up a notch, I'm not even going to wear safety goggles! Count me in.

But the mad scientist costume is half the fun!

I took a pick of my now 3 week old W/BW crossbeak that momma tried to kill. Not a clue as to the gender, but it's sweet as pie! It's a cuddlebug.

It's legs are turning blue now. I just need to download the pics from the camera to the big computer, send them to my email, and post them here on my laptop. No problem!
