Arizona Chickens

No rain here... and just enough wind to really mess up the pool.

If you haven't found everything by tomorrow afternoon Laree, the boys and I can come over.

P.S. Those are two very adorable chicks!

Now that could be one cute coop! Shaped like a teapot, and painted like something by Mary Engelbreit

WELL--I think most of my birds are still here. I can't quite do a head count just yet--but I went out and opened the coop/run doors before hte sun came up. Hopefully this encourged them to run for treats rather than fly up for funsies.

Lessie...I think I see all of the turkeys, and have all of the Icelandics accounted for. Those are my big "wanderers". Everyone else (except for Elda and Mystic who are accounted for) are pretty lazy. If anyone blew over into the neighbors' yards, the neighbors will know to catch them.

LOL, Yeah I can see it now. Yes, I've gone with tempest, getting her to pose with a teapot...that'd be a challenge. Might get "Tempest ON a Teapot" though. Susie, teapot shaped coop just isn't in the cards. But I really LOVE the whole idea of naming the chickens by their breeds. If I did that I'd be down to 3 or 4 and would certainly need more. That one falls under "Chicken Algebra".

Susie, I need to make a note of Tempest and Dora's age, could you help me out with that? Left a message on your phone but I know your cell is as wonky as mine and you may not have gotten it. When I try to email link silly Outlook loads and it isn't set up for use on this computer. Sigh.

Me, the Scary Rake, The Fly Swatter, the alley, and the Icelandics are becoming really well aquianted today. I also have 2 extra kids today (they spent the night last night)...so my herding skills are getting a workout today.
