I am 5' 9 and hubby is 6 '1. he is the guy in the picture from last week. alot of people on the serama thread are giving me crap for killing it. I have lost 11 chickens to snakes this year and I am not losing any more. They weren't baby chicks, but chickens about 2 months away from laying!!! (bigger than my seramas!) I told them next time I get one I will box it up and send it there way. Snakes are a dime a dozen out here, So I don't feel bad killing it

I have a dear friend that lives in Scottsdale. He moved there from Chicago. Says you can fry a chicken on the sidewalk. Whoosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just processed the Egyptian Roo. I don't think my dog killed him. Not a mark on him. But, he looked fine that morning, so, maybe a cat, or broken neck?
Anyway, he smelled fine so I fed him to the dogs. Black skin and joints like a silky. Dogs said he tasted like chicken!
Saved the pretty black and white feathers for Meg.

Do I have to grow them from seed or are they available somewhere to transplant?

My friend has 18 peacocks here. She lives on 40 acres. i just cant stand the call they make. It sounds like someone from arkansas is yelling help, help, help!!!!
