Those that can consolidate to a single Tucson mailing, please post after your name. Those who need direct mail...we need to make arrangements cuz Blind Devotion hasn't sold anything in 2 weeks.

Years ago I made the mistake of mentioning to my grandma I liked a blue goose design for kitchen. Next thing I knew, everything had a goose! Table cloth, clock and so froth.

Over they years they slowly had "accidents"

My mil decided that since I like cats that she should provide me with all sorts of cat decor. Mind you, I said I like cats, the living, breathing, scratching, purring kind, not inanimate decor. That was long before I had chickens. I actually prefer to choose my own decor, whether or not it relates to a hobby is immaterial.

Some years ago, when I was really into fishing, my mother bought me a lamp in the shape of a realistic looking large mouth bass. It had a hideous green ruffled shade. It didn't go with anything in our house--not even remotely, but that didn't stop my mother. What the heck am I going to do with a bass lamp? It now resides in the back workshop in the garage. I can't bear to get rid of it because she was so happy to give it to me. I just know that someday she'll be here and ask, "where's your fish lamp?"

Yeppers. Count on it. I have a sister like that. She sent me a carved lead crystal decanter which is supposed to elegantly reside on your pristine nightstand next to your designer comforted bed linens with the 13 or so custom made pillows...every time she deigns to visit she checks to make sure it is there (next to my IKEA sheets at $3.95 each).
