Arizona Chickens

TT, I have 25... I said at LEAST ten, NOT that last ten

I'm going to have two young Ameraucana roos in with the girls. (A BW and a Splash) I may have to lock them in the coop each night and keep them there until after sunrise so they don't wake the neighbors who have gotten used to no crowing for the past two months.

TT! :

Why don't you just cook them?

I'm a vegetarian!

Honestly, I shouldn't have a problem with eating them. The entire reason we are vegetarians is because of the factory farming and excess use of antibiotics. These were raised humanely - but chickens don't sound appetizing any more.

Unless there was a way to disguise them in chocolate. I think I could eat anything that was dipped in chocolate. But, what is the point? I'd rather eat something else that was dipped in chocolate. Like more chocolate. Mmm...

That's too bad. I make a mean chicken dumpling or chicken noodle soup.

Three fingers onto of the head like a roosters comb and then strut sideways a few steps?

Now, please make a youtube video so that I can see it in action.

Let's have Mikey demonstrate that one. He has skillz.

OK...so my Serama roo that had buggies. He is still unable to stand up on his own & it's been 5 days now. I am having to give him baths at least twice a day because he poops all over himself because he's just lying there. He's eating & drinking and he kicks his feet/legs around but he can't stand up. Any advice or suggestions?

Thanks

I think Dr. Anderson in Mesa does de-crowing.

OMG Hoarders is my favorite show ... some of the people are really quite crazy. I also tell my son "look what happens if you don't clean your room!" Some of them are so gross ... like "oh look we found 25 dead cats in your house that you didn't know you even had." The people are like "Hmm I wondered what happened to Fluffy, thought she just ran away."
On a side note, my neighbor 2 doors down is a hoarder, not quite as bad as the ones on the show, but getting worse all of the time.

I'm guessing W/BW Ameraucanas, FBCMs and Jersey Giants. Am I right??????

Dar, you are so close. We did some Giants, FBCMs and some Orps. It is a sickness, I admit it. And, just like last year, as soon as they went outside to the brooder, a cold front came in. No one local to get those beautiful W/BW Ameraucanas from. Can't believe that business with your neighbors. (Or Meg's). HORRIBLE!

Yes, he is laying on his side. I get him where he is "kinda" standing up & he stays there for a few seconds...then, FLOP, back onto his side. I'll look it up - thanks!
