Mahroni- You are making it soooo hard! I still don't have any blue egg layers...and you said "fertile"! I will hold my tongue for now. I still need to find good homes for my two CM roos.

Anyone have interest in Shanks or Stumps? Perhaps one of my little australorp roos?

Well, I hatched 5 australorps on 12/7. Hatched 3 pullets, perhaps 4. Britt took 2 pullets---and it kinda looks like I have 2 roos instead of just one **sigh** I wanted 2 pullets, but am not over-sad. I will let them grow out a bit before I make a FINAL judge. They are still "mangy" looking, so it is hard to tell. I need 1 roo to work on the "blues" for the Aloha chickens---so if anyone wants "dibs" on the extra...

Ugh..someone just laid a GYNOURMOUS shell-less egg on my patio chair cushion. It had a flexible shell over the mebrane. Apparently the whole process was "wet" because the WHOLE CUSHION is wet. Ick.---and GO DO THAT IN THE COOP!

Cluckin'- NONONONONO! You keep your girls! Like I said, I really only NEEDED 2 austras, 1 roo and 1 pullet. The extra roo STILL might be a girl: it is hard for that comb not to look huge with all that nekkidness. Even an extra roo is fine, an extra pullet, a bonus. I am sure I will stumble across someone who wants to snatch him up. Besides: you'll need those gynourmous girls to protect the normal-sized chickens.

Cap1717- Thank you so very much for the offer, it is very generous. I JUST packed away the incubator....must resist temptation... can I get back to you tomorrow?
