TT! That sucks. I think if you got a few quiet breeds it could be all good. I think there are a few among us that are out-laws!!!

and yes....best day ever, I had so much fun. It was awesome meeting everyone and their kids and a purse as well. I am beyond exhausted. The car ride home tomarrow will be interesting. We have 27 chicks and several full grown in a saturn minivan...can you say red neck. I am serious when i saw we have to plan something saturday before easter. I loved the chicken talk and non chicken talk. also best car pool ride or maybe limo driver ever. Mikey you are climbing your way up my favorite people list. And remember..."I dont like anyone so if I say I like you feel special" I loved all the chicken talk there as well. All around great day...a much needed.

I told my DH that this was the best girls day out for me. Forget the spa, but give me a barn with 2,000 chicken half of which were crowing!!! Sorry for those of you I didn't meet. there was just so much going on all at once!
 
Who enforces those rules? How can they over ride City of Tucson ordanences? What would happen if you told the title company that you do not agree with them? Houses are not soul mates. There is, literally, another around the corner. Can you be happy in the house knowing that you can not live the life you want there? It is a HOA just with a different name. eta: i don't mean to be presumptuous. I think it is lousy if your realtor knew you didn't want HOA and still steered you to this house.
I LOVE all the pictures from the show! Mikey kept me entertained today by texting me pictures of the chickens. :)

I was getting so excited, planning a new coop for the new house, but I don't think it is going to happen. We purposely picked a house that had no HOA, but we got a "Declaration of Establishment of Conditions and Restrictions" from the title company today that has a list of neighborhood rules...

"No cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, horses, rabbits, poultry, or other livestock shall be kept or maintained upon said property. This paragraph shall not be construed, however, as prohibiting or in any manner interfering with the keeping of ordinary domestic pet animals upon said property."

We're supposed to close in a few weeks and I love the house... :-(

Well... I'm not sure how it is enforced. It says,

10. All provisions herein shall be binding on all lots and parcels of real estate and the owners thereof, regardless of the source of title of such owners, and any breach thereof, if continued for a period of thirty days from and after the date that the owner of other property shall have notified in writing the owner or lessee in possession of the lot upon which said breach has been committed to refrain from a continuance of such action and to correct such breech; and a failure to do so shall warrant said Owner or other let owners to apply to any court of law or equity having jurisdiction thereof for an injunction or other proper relief, and if such relief is granted, the court may, at its discretion, award to the plaintiff in such action his reasonable expenses in prosecuting such suit, including attorneys' fees.

11. Any breach of any of the conditions, restrictions, convenants or reservations herein contained shall not defeat or render invalid the lien of any mortgage, contract or deed of trust made in good faith for value as to any lot or lots in said subdivision but the provisions, conditions, restrictions and convenants shall be binding upon the effective against such mortgagee or other person whose title thereto or the title of whose grantor thereto is or was acquired by foreclosure, judicial sale, termination of contract, trustee's sale, or otherwise.

I have no idea what any of that means. :(
 
I dont think i saw any turkeys for sale. The only thing that is going on tomarrow is the people picking up their animals that they showed the day before. I would be wrong, but people can start checking out at 7:00am. maybe aurora or sonoran can give you an idea if there in anything going on tomarrow.
