Arizona Chickens

Ok, I guess I have seen rock squirrels before but this one looked so much in the picture like a tree fox squirrel. The tails are not as full I see. Neat, Didn't know you could tame them like the tree type. Thanks for the pictures.

Ok all you Valbazen experts, does it ever go bad esp. if its kept in a cool dry place? What should I see in their poop the following day(s)? If I still see little white segments that are moving does that mean it didn't work? Sorry for all the questions, I've never wormed before due to an infestation just out of precaution. It was a royal pain to make sure every single one got a dosage and if this is not working then it's time for royal pain part II.

My girlies had to be wormed. Thanks to Bill (southerndesert), he offered me some valbazen and I went up to get some.

To answer your question, yes you will still see the moving segments the day after and days following. Then you do a follow up 10 days later. They should be good to go after that.

If you need more info about worming with Valbazen, look up threads from Dawg53, He has knowledge in this.

Not been a good day.

Chickens are fine (except for Flopsy - but I just got her the vitamins)

But I've never been so frustrated with a project before.

Called it quits after many hours of banging my head against it.

Maybe try again tomorrow.

Called off the June hatch. We are going away for a few weeks in July and Tammy & I do not want to come home to dead chickies.

Blah.

Good night all.

Thanks for the info, I guess I was assuming that the valbazen killed all the moving segments that's why it threw me off guard to see the poo look the same as it did before the dosing. I've been reading up on all of dawg53 info but only got threw the first several, only a couple hundred more to go.

How to make yourself feel better?

OK - here we go.

I have an ex brother in law twice removed (no kidding) that lives in Vienna. As that is (as far as I'm concerned) right next door to Appenzeller Switzerland, I've sent him a request to look into shipping some fertile App Spitz eggs.

Maybe get this breed revitalized!

Anyone use Purina feed for their chickens? I received a $2.00 off coupon in my email today. It expires on June 3rd. 1st one to pm me will get it. Just send me your name and address.
