Any ideas on what breed the goose is? It sure is cute and acts like a little lost puppy following the 5 year old everywhere.

Glad to hear they finally figured it out!so I have been incredibley ill these last two weeks. I just found out today that I had what mikey had a while back when he was so sick. I didnt realize that he was so contagious just through the computer. I am excited at the prospect of not spending so much time in the bathroom. It was pretty scarey the first week, the second week was just annoying. I am also getting a rescued baby gosling tomarrow from a lady that does wildlife rescue. Some one found it in there back yard and no one claimed it. Does anyone know anything about them. The only knowledge I have of them is when I was 12 and my piano teacher had them and they were mean and would chase us around the yard. She had at least 10 of them and they would all gang up on you and i would get stuck in the trees until someone would come and rescue me!
Did you get your Spitz yet?so we got the little gosling today. the 5 year old named it duckly....i was hoping for ryan goseling! How do I post pictures so I can try and figure out what breed it is. Does it need another goose buddy?
Very cute!
Tammy called the vet # and the disease control # today & left messages with both.
She hung out with Gretchen's sister today (in the bathroom/isolation/recovery room) and she (Gretchen's sis) was not coughing or rattling anymore (Thank you once again Tylan!) so she put her back outside.
My daughter cleaned the coop today - I got to see a fuzzy phone pict of it.
No update on Flopsy yet.
I miss my chickens (and my wife, not in that order!)
Healthy day to all ya'll!

BTW, I'm in a town called Phenix, Alabama!
Pratts or Feed Barn might have keets. I know the Feed Barn has pheasant chicks (not sure of hte proper term for baby pheasants). Also do you know if any feed stores have guineas. I have a friend that is looking for some and I thought I would pick some up while I am there. She is really wanting some lavenders.
It looks a great deal like my little gosel, and is about the same size. Nibbles is a sebastapol, hopefully a ganderling. For better breed ID, post on the goose forum.
