Well I am such a fool!

I miss taken my hatch day for my silky chicks. It is today and as of yesterday I have 6 out of 11 eggs hatched. I guess I was just to quick to say I failed again! Well anyway I didn't fail after all!

Mikey, I don't know what the max sodium intake is, but it is very small.. Has something to do with getting rid of it.. Normally through the urine.. Chicken urine is very thick, and doesn't transport the sodium well.. I'm not an expert, but there are some in this forum that may be able to give you a better answer.. They can take some sodium in their diet, but only very small amounts, as they don't sweat it out like we do... Will

I made it extra long so it would zig-zag to prevent grand babies from knocking it over whilst slamming into it with a bicycle. That and so we could move it about and put it where ever we needed it.

This is getting frustrating, not putting up the quotes when I reply to a post.. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it must be a setting I have selected wrong.. What do you think.?.. Seems to happen with every upgtade lately.. I really think electronic equipment hates me... lol Will

Will, I know what you mean. The quotes work for me but right now I don't get any post sent to my email. Upgrades are a pain.

I had that problem for a while. Had to close the reply window then go back to the post I was replying to and select "quote" again, sometimes three or four times before the quote would actually appear. You might want to try changing the settings, then changing them back. I did that a few times and it's been working ok for me the last several days. Don't know if the settings changes actually did anything, or if it just fixed itself. Good luck!

Sonoran Silkies, I have a feeling tho I am not getting anyone to answer me that Poppy is a hen. No rooster comb at all and I would think that by 18 weeks I should see a walnut starting. The comb looks like the hens. I may need one of those paint roosters. Can you send pictures? A friend of mine need to pick up her daughter in Tempe Sunday.
