getting them back schould be easy, just show them some dried mealQuestions on pullets. I have two pullets that are suppose to be 4-5 months old. They still cheep. Neither will get out of the coop on their own and they also won't get back in on their own. When do they start doing this by themselves? I have to hunt them down at night, listening for the cheeping to find them, so I can get them back into the coop. My standard sized breeds did this on their own after about 8 weeks.

worms or a piece of bread... When I want them to come we will
bring them a treat & say "Girls! Want some treats..
They know what I am saying and come running!

Great idea. I used meal worms to teach them how to use the water nipples so why not going back to the hen house.getting them back schould be easy, just show them some dried meal

YES Please !!! Heather has also offered me the use of her jack hammer. Gosh, this is starting to look like it might be possible, thanks to all of you wonderful people. It will be sometime next month before I am ready for it. Is that all right? Heather said I could pick up the jack hammer at the same time.
My SFH's and EO's are getting ready to lay. All of this ground pounding is to set up their breeding pens. Also to put in a laying flock yard for my daughter. You two are first in line for fertile eggs when the time comes if you want !!!
