he must be one of those people that are never happy and have to complain about everything. I dont blame you for being mad. He will dig himself in and people will realize what he is.

Thanks guys! It is the "office gossip" thing that bugs me the most. Said gossip is being spread around by a THIRD dude, who is supposed to be middle management. It cheeses me off. I will be fine in a day or two. Maybe I will glue down the shift key on the inside of his keyboard. That always cheers me up.

ANYWAY--Shiny Happy Chicken Thoughts:

GCK- I did see that article, and tried to upload it. I am glad you found the link!
SOCK- You are the bestest sculptress, ever.
Cluckin- You CM will be fine. Give her a few days to work out the kinks in the process. Maybe give her a little protien boost to kick her into gear?
Shaun- Many of us are tremendous SciFi nerds. No need to "sell" a quick link is appreciated and ooohhhed and ahhhhed over.

Hey Laree,

So first dont worry about people like that at work. They will sink themselves. God will sort of that sort of stuff for you so don't stress over it.

As for the link. The groups website is wcgaps.com Check it out if you like. PM me if you have any questions usually people have a few pages of questions

Have fun everyone.

Nope, It got away.

I had been taking pics of it in the yard trying to get into the littlen chicks cage. Then it disappeared under the hen house and well one of the hens that was inside all of a sudden started making all this ruckus, so I ran over there and looked in and there it was. I was able to get a pic before it got away.

It climbed our block wall and got out into the neighbors yard.

Here is some cuteness from my hatch that started last night. First one was born at 11 pm. The second was out this morning. Penny has one that she hatched early this morning - a Polish cross!! Yay! We got the two chicks out of the bator this morning - ninja style (stolen term) and gave them to the broody.

As cute as all this is, there are sure a lot of eggs that are not pipped and I am having low hopes for the rest of them. The silly Sussex got in there again while we were out there. She stole more eggs to sit on. She has obviously been disturbing the broody and the eggs on a daily basis...

Penny got up and turned around on the eggs a couple times while we were out there. It is day 21, so I should just be patient. The ones in the incubator are not doing anything either. No pips, nothing.

Anyway, here are the pics of the babies:

The other one that hatched is from what I believe is a Cinnamon Queen x BCM, but the little thing came out yellow. Hmm. Maybe it will look more orange as it fluffs up. No pics of it, yet.

And for Mahonri - here are pics of our little boy. Is he a BWA or a WA? He is sure sweet!! We are in love with him and the little WA pullet. She has some blue feathers on her saddle area, but the rest of her is white and buff. She is in the pics, too. They think my DD is their mommy.

Okay, I think i just answered my own question. This is a pic of my WA from last year's hatch and he is much darker. Obviously our boy is a BWA, right.

I am so excited....I got a message from a friend that she is selling her 3 tray sportsman incubator and before she posted on Craigslist she wanted to see it I wanted to buy it....YEA!!!! another incubator for me. I will pick it up tonight and I am sure that i will have it going tomorrow or Friday...just need a few more eggs

Also..got a call from a different friend last night that she was at a thrift store and found some trays that looked like they would hold eggs. I was trying to get her to describe them to me and I didn't ask the right questions..I went to her house last night to see them because he bought 4 of them and they are incubator egg holding trays, each tray holds 30 eggs and they are green plastic. So off I went to the thrift store this morning and got 24 trays at 50 cents each..then because I bought the rest they had and they didn't know what they were they gave me 10% off....they thought it was some sort of egg dying tray.

Things are just falling in my lap...I need to remember this on those bad days that happen.

So I am having a really great day up here and hope that everyone else in AZ has a great day too

also.....

Thanks for the offer, but I dont need to barrow one

I would probably get in trouble for shooting at it anyway, being right in the middle of a neighborhood. I think I will try and borrow a live trap if possible and get rid of it that way. I dont need it moving into my attic or anything like that.

First it was bees and now a squirrel. What next? I so need my old dog back, my current one apparentlyy isnt scary enough for all the critters.
