how do you get the vaccine? i've never heard of this disease before. 

It would be nice if one of us could ask a vet and share a bottle of it. Chicken vaccines are usually packaged by the 1,000 doses.

I ordered a packet of organic swiss chard seeds and they sent me 8 packets! Wasn't looking to plant that much swiss chard. I'm in NE Mesa if anyone is interested in free seed packets of Fordhook Giant Swiss Chard let me know.

You could put them in the AZ BYC Seed Box. Have you seen it yet?

Only if the get bumped around. You can put several coats of shellac inside and out also.

Thank you for all the recommendations about my new project. Decided to go with blue eggs. Searched around and got 9 Crested Cream Legbar hatching eggs from a breeder in Goodyear, AZ. Set them in the small incubator Friday for a 25th of September hatch date. Really like this new incubator. Totally automated, digital controls, turns the eggs and holds temp to 1/10 of a degree C. Only holds 9 chicken eggs though. Even has a hole on top so can add water every other day without opening. Wife got it here for my anniversary.

The little sweeties have been dustbathing in the shavings for a couple of days, so I opened up the rest of the coop to them and put some dirt in there. They are loving it! So cute!

What kind of shavings? Are they using it as a dust bath, or are they making a big mess??
