Arizona Chickens

I posted this on a silkie sexing thread but thought some of you may have opinions here too.
My silkie is 21 weeks old, hatch from an egg from a BYC member that is a breeder. I swore it was a pullet until about a week ago. The comb started developing, very small wattles and it's turning red. Is my pullet maturing or do u have a roo?
He/she seems to be standing tall because I was making a clicking sound trying to get better photos.
What do you think?

Yes, a Boeing 747. Dry weight (no fuel) is about 45 tons. It's not the weight, though, it's the lack of traction. Think about trying to walk in about a foot of snot.
My husband worked for TWA for 26 years. Got to go to Hawaii several times as well as Ireland, Holland and my home country of Sweden, all for free.

Will the mother rabbit protect the babies from the others and the chickens? It's been 25 years or so since I've messed with them. Can you tell when a doe is prego by looking?

Thanks for the advice. My wife's books haven't been off the shelf in a bit. Lol.
The research I've done suggests that the rabbits should not regularly eat chicken feed due to higher calcium content. (I don't remember if there are other reasons) My does love the chickens' feed. I don't stress about it but I do try to limit their access to it if I can. Ours have not become friends. They use the same yard, but the chickens are not thrilled with the bunnies and have pecked at them a time or two. Our rabbits are large so they just move on down the yard. My concern would be for baby rabbits to be anywhere near chickens. I think they would make a tasty morsel. On one of the rabbit forums here, the person was housing their chickens under the rabbit raised hutch. They couldn't figure out why their babies were losing their toes. They initially thought the mom was cleaning the babies too hard. They eventually realized that the chickens were jumping up and pecking the toes off from underneath and through the small holes in the hutch wire. On the other hand, the guy I got our buck from had chickens and rabbits all over the yard together. He did keep some rabbits above the chickens enclosed area. He reported no issues. Maybe those were his bucks.

My DH is the big time reader in our house. I am always trying to get him to let go of some to clear shelf space. When he saw a book in with the rabbits, he immediately wanted to know which one it was (he has hundreds). I could almost detect a sense of panic in his voice

I told him it was one with dust on it and in the back of the closet, so he probably hadn't seen it in a long time. Now he chooses the books that the girls can get. These rabbits have really grown on him too.

Looks like a hen to me. Can you get a side view..

My Pepito (the runner duck) is doing better. We think it was a head or neck injury. He can stand and stagger around a bit now, kind of like Falstaff. He's weak, but he hasn't eaten that much either. I tried putting him out in the pen today, but if he keeled over the hens (the little velociraptors that they are) ran over and pecked at him. He's definitely been out of the flock too long, plus he's the weak link. If my boyfriend weren't allergic to feathers I would put a diaper on him and make him a house duck. I don't know that I have the facilities to take care of a special needs duck long term. Would anyone on here be interested in taking Pepito under his or her wing (heh ... pun intended)? I don't want him to have to live in the old dog crate the rest of his time. Sweet Pepito Feo:
Any changes?

I have one of those, she sounds like a sick or dying cow!  At least here I can keep her even if she is a bit noisy.  My coop is well away from my neighbors so they shouldn't find her too obnoxious.

I have one of those too! My 1 yr old BO is obnoxious. She's a docile hen and sweet but sick cow would describe the sounds she makes every morning very well. I keep telling her to be quieter but she doesn't seem concerned.
