Chirping
Oh no!!!! I could just see that. I'm quite certain those lil buggers had nooooo idea of the stress their running all over was causing you. I'm glad you made it in 1 piece.been a rough day here at the school farm.
the meat ig nrok the chain holding the doors to both her cage and the pot-ballies cage, so the three pigs were wandering the yard, and decided they wanted to eat my entire days worth of protein/alfalfa/oat pellet mix, (for my three new polish to improve feather growth/condition for show) dump over the entire hutch structure, rip our the bars on the hutch, break a lid hinge, and tear the staples out of my homemade run ALL WHILE FREEING MY THREE EXTREMELY AGILE AND CRAFTY BIRDS INTO A 3 ACRE FENCED AREA FOR ME TO ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE BEFORE A HAWK ATE THEM.
and of course in the process I got STUNG by a bee, bit at least 4 times by the meat pig (who is twice the size of my 5' 3" 150 lb self.) and was worried sick about the prospect of my birds injuring themselves.
the stresssssssssssssssssss
i'm so done with the stupid pigs -_-
and we are, of course, getting NOTHER one soon.
so yay more stress.
I do believe I will be building a bigger coop for my birds in my free time at school, and putting it in an enclosed area that the stupid bacon-makers will not be able to destroy.
on that note, does anyone have any extra chicken wire laying around that is no bigger than 1" that maybe they would be willing to donate?
that's the part im stuck on right now, as I have plenty of pallets for the structure, but not enough of the right kind of wire that will both keep my birds safe and protected, but is sturdy or in a big enough shape.
lol and maybe i'll go to the washes and bring a huge truck full of sand to school and wash/strain/bleach it really good so my birds can dust bathe and walk on something softer than rocks.....
jee wiz i gotta lotta work to do over here....
